Blue High Performance Network®
BlueHPN® is a convenient and affordable network with providers in nearly every state in the U.S. But there are a few very important things to know before choosing it. ![]() |
![]() How is BlueHPN different?BlueHPN is like other networks — you’ll still pay plan copay and out-of-pocket costs. What makes it different is where you can go when you need care. If you choose BlueHPN, you must be sure that the providers, clinics or hospitals you choose accept BlueHPN or you may be responsible for up to the total cost of that out-of-network care unless it’s an emergency visit*. This can be a lot of money, so read this page carefully before deciding if BlueHPN is right for you. |
![]() The BlueHPN networkNot all providers and facilities are in the BlueHPN network, but there are many to choose from. This network of providers has been carefully chosen to provide convenient and affordable care for you and your family. Because they’re also Blue Cross providers, you can always expect the same level of care no matter where you are. If your current providers aren’t part of the BlueHPN network, you’ll need to find ones who are. |

Searching providersFinding BlueHPN providers and facilities is easy using the search tool. You can choose by name, specialty, type or location. If you’re already a Blue Cross member, you can also call the number on the back of your card to confirm you’re seeing someone in the BlueHPN network. |
