The BCBSM coordinated care app allows you to set reminders for prescriptions and appointments. Review personalized health content and communicate directly with member Advocates, clinical navigators and nurse care managers through secure messaging. Through the app, you will receive personalized guidance based on your unique needs which makes it easy to access resources that help you get and stay healthy. This is Jackie, she is on her employer's health insurance plan for the first time and doesn't know much about her plan or her coverage. She calls the number on the back of her blue cross id card. A member advocate answers her benefit questions, informs her of the BCBSM coordinated, care app and helps her download the app.

[1:00] Today, Jackie gets a notification from her BCBSM coordinated care app, that she hasn't yet had her annual physical. Jackie doesn't have a primary care doctor, so she decides to send a secure message to a member advocate through the app. The member advocate connects Jackie with a doctor that fits her needs and helps her make an appointment.

[1:22] Jackie is also worried about health care costs. Before her appointment, Jackie searches for information about her new plan and finds a helpful article about member out-of-pocket costs in the app. The article breaks down confusing terms like co-pays and co-insurance.
